This rosary features an antique true bronze Scapular center with the Sacred Heart on the front and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on the reverse plus a vintage bronze crucifix. They show some wear but are in excellent condition overall, and were gently cleaned to keep their patina then treated with Renaissance wax.
The Ave beads are 8mm red fire agates, while the Paters are ocean blue (dyed) faceted agates enclosed in gold-plated and antiqued bead caps. The connecting links for the center and crucifix have topaz-colored silver-lined seed beads.
True bronze (also known as ‘jewelers’ bronze’, lead- and nickel-free) 21 gauge wire was used throughout. This wire will eventually patinate through use to a warm, dark gold shade.
