Description
This rosary bracelet pairs two unusual bead types: the Pater is a 10mm Czech glass heart bead of striated blue-and-white glass, while the Ave beads are sapphire-colored Czech glass bellflower beads with 4mm white Swarovski crystal pearls as the centers of the bellflowers.
It has a antiqued-silver crucifix (3/4″) and two vintage aluminum medals, a Miraculous Medal and a St. Joseph/Guardian Angel medal. The Miraculous Medal has its usual text in French: Ô Marie, conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous (O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee) and the standard Marian monogram, stars, and two hearts on the reverse. The St. Joseph medal has the Latin text ‘S. Joseph O.P.N.’ (St. Joseph, pray for us) on the front and a depiction of a guardian angel shepherding a child on the reverse.
The closure is a sterling triggerless clasp paired with silver-plated and silver-filled jump rings which will break open under stress (for safety). The beads are fully wire-wrapped (unbreakable loops) in sterling-silver-filled wire.
Sapphire is the traditional and modern birthstone for September.
