Description
This lightweight rosary is anchored with an antique sterling silver Miraculous Medal center in wonderful condition, paired with a silver-plated reproduction crucifix.
The Aves are 9x6mm faceted aqua crystals while the Paters are 14mm round Murano lampwork beads of the Sommerso and Aventurina style–Sommerso meaning that different colors of glass and foil are ‘submerged’ inside clear glass, and Aventurina meaning that there are copper flecks. These Murano beads have copper and silver foil as well as a bright yellow glass submerged within aqua-colored glass.
Sterling silver chain and sterling wire are used for the loops and links; the Paters are set off with 3mm Swarovski crystal pearls.
The aqua-colored crystals make this a March birthstone rosary.
(I have in my head a vision of a parent and child praying on this rosary together.)
