Description
This is a larger-sized rosary bracelet created with 10x8mm emerald Czech crystal ovals for the Ave beads and a 14×12 swirled oval Murano lampwork bead with an emerald and white glass core and tiny white and purple flowers encased in clear glass. The Pater is set off with silver-plated daisy spacers and 3mm ivory Swarovski crystal pearls.
There are two 16mm vintage aluminum medals. The first one is a scapular medal with the Sacred Heart on the front and an enthroned Madonna and Child on the reverse. The Spanish inscription “Ntra Señora de Ayuda R.P.N.” stands for “Nuestra Señora de Ayuda, Rogad por nosotros” (Our Lady of Help [of Christians] pray for us).
The second medal is one of the two most common forms of Holy Family medals, with the Holy Family on the front with the Christ Child standing between Our Lady and St. Joseph, and the dove of the Holy Spirit symbolizing God’s blessing on the family on the reverse.
The crucifix is an antiqued silver-plate bracelet crucifix.
Sterling 1/10 silver-filled wire was used and the bracelet closes with a sterling silver rose toggle clasp.
Emerald is the birthstone for May.
