Description
This September rosary bracelet was carefully created with larger beads and medals so that it is in perfect proportion to a larger wrist, not just a ‘standard sized bracelet’ extended with chain or extra loops. The Ave beads are Czech glass faceted ovals (10x7mm) in sapphire, paired with a large lampwork rondelle (15x10mm) Pater of sky-blue glass with white trillium flowers (three-lobed flowers), which is set off by (and protected by) antiqued silver-plated daisy spacers and 4mm fire-polished bicones in the same sky blue.
A larger antiqued-silver crucifix (1″) and two vintage aluminum medals are attached. The Miraculous Medal (1″) is finely detailed, with its inscription in English (O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee) and the standard Marian monogram, stars, and two hearts on the reverse. The 3/4″ St. Anne medal has the traditional depiction of St. Anne and the Blessed Virgin as a child leaning against her on the front, and the reverse reads ‘St. ANNE PRAY FOR US’
The closure is a sterling silver-filled fancy toggle paired with silver-plated and silver-filled jump rings which will break open under stress (for safety). The beads are fully wire-wrapped (unbreakable loops) in sterling-silver-filled wire.
This bracelet could be extended an additional 1/4″ or 1/2″ with the addition of small beaded links; please inquire. Toggle-clasp bracelets need to fit reasonably snugly in order for the toggle to not come undone. Please ask if you need help determining the correct size for your wrist.
