This rosary bracelet is named for St. Thérèse’s quote which appears on the reverse of the antique St. Thérèse aluminum medal featured on this bracelet. The Ave beads are 8mm siam (ruby-colored) Preciosa crystals; the Pater bead is a ruby-red lampwork tube bead with an ivory band with pink roses encircling it, and is set off by antique silver bead caps and tiny red seed beads.
The St. Thérèse medal has her portrait on the front and one of her famous sayings on the reverse: “Je ferai tomber une pluie de roses” (“[Après ma mort/After my death] I will send down a shower of roses”) along with a monogram of S and T and a shower of roses.
It is paired with an antique Immaculate Heart of Mary aluminum medal which has the Blessed Mother displaying her Immaculate Heart on the front, and the depiction of the Immaculate Heart, wreathed with roses, on the reverse.
A new antiqued-silver crucifix (.75″) and a sterling toggle clasp with a rose decoration complete the bracelet. It is sized at 7 1/2″, the usual adult female bracelet size. Sterling-silver-filled wire forms the links (including those that attached the medals and crucifix), and one side of the toggle is attached with an open jump ring for safety. A lobster clasp may be substituted for the toggle at the customer’s request.
I often have this St. Thérèse medal in stock as well as a few of the lampwork tube bead Pater and can create a similar bracelet in any color of Aves.
